Medic-Blocks:

Software for testing different algorithms for medical purposes. Each block is a library, which could be used to create in a short period of time a software prototype. These libraries were used to create FISICO and COSMOS.

Thoth:
Thoth is a DICOM viewer, and yes another DICOM viewer. It was builded using Qt5, ITK and DCMTK libraries.

Arthroscopic Training system

The main feature of this project regarding the technology used, is that it introduces the concept of Haptic (sense of touch). The user can through Haptic elements that connect to the computer really, feel all the tissues of the knee as if they were human.

The system will provide the user tactile feedback, using the SensAble haptic system integrated with a 3D scene of the human knee, based on volumetric models. Both the visualization and surgery will be combined so that users can share specific system parameters for the teaching of orthopedic, medical students and residents in the specialty.
